What PrepTest reflects current LSAT Format

by pateljay.osu Mon May 13, 2013 10:16 am

Does anyone know what PrepTest number is the first to represent the most recent LSAT format? This would help me get used to the actual format before going in to take my test. Thanks :D

There are two format changes that you should be aware of. First, beginning June 2007 the LSAT introduced "comparative reading" passages. The June 2007 LSAT and PT52-present all reflect this format change.

Second, beginning in June 2012 the LSAT switched the LG layout from 1 page per game to 2 pages per game. No change in the actual games occurred, but you do get an extra page. Honestly, it's not such a big format change that you'll need to "get used to it."

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply. Wasn't there some new question type for Logical Reasoning as well? I apologize for not being specific. I have just heard that there is a new question type.

No new question type in LR. I guess you could say that beginning in 2003 LR dropped the one stimulus, 2 question format, but the question types and content are still the same.

Thanks! I wasn't a fan of the one stimulus two question occurrences anyhow.
