What does P.E.A.R stand for and what approach to take?

by mharr Mon Aug 25, 2014 5:34 pm

I apologize for the silly question. I am new to Manhattan prep's terminology for RC. I purchased Mahattan's '10 Real Lsats Grouped By Questiom type', and I'm about to take the scale and pear practice in RC.

Thank you for your time. :)

Pear stands for:

Pause
Evaluate
Anticipate
Reassess

It's something we recommend after each paragraph of a given passage. Take a moment, make sure you understand what you read, see if you can figure out what ought to come next and (in the later paragraphs) check to see if your predictions came true.

Good luck!
