weaken/strengthen Qs

by LSAT-Chang Tue Sep 20, 2011 12:15 pm

I ran into several correct answer choices that have modifiers such as "some" "many" and "most". I was curious to know if there was a set rule for whether or not answer choices with these modifiers are more or less likely to be correct than incorrect, because I've encountered problems where the correct answer would include the modifier "some" and it would be correct because it is still weakening by a little bit. But then, I've encountered other answer choices where there would all be "some" and "most" statements, but obviously some of them are answers to the opposite Q type, so it would be wrong -- but I was curious to know whether such modifiers are more or less likely to be correct or incorrect... An example I wanted to provide was in PT52 Section 1, Question #12, the correct answer choice is (E), and it has the modifier "most" -- if it had said "some", would it still be correct??? I would love to hear anyone's opinion on this one..
