Timing strategy

I'm about 1.5 months into studying (just beginning the course with MP) and I'm just now starting to focus on RC. Hoping someone could shed some light on the most efficient study strategy... The timing is KILLING my score -- I'm getting through 2.5 passage sections timed and since I'm already rushing...

Re: Q2 - Javier: Government workers are paid

Hi, thanks for the break down. I'm having trouble grasping why it's B vs. C. Mykayla doesn't outright say anything about 'saving money' -- she refutes the J's premise siting data that says contractors are paid higher than government employees (the opposite of J's statement "Government workers a...

Re: Q20

I'm a little unclear as to why Passage B did not contain a paradox (D)?

"This theory may sound good... but it is not the explanation best supported..."

Doesn't this point to a paradox that the passage then goes to explain?

Re: Q15

How would you go about starting to test for this?

Also, could T + L also be a pair that chooses their third option? We just didn't need to find all the options -- just one instance, right?

How much time is a reasonable amount to spend on this game?

Just seems like you have a lot of testing in each question and there are so many variations. Just curious how much time an efficient test taker should spend on this game?

Re: Q13 - Papercrete promising material

"Otherwise" basically means "NOT - that idea." This argument isn't trying to be a Comparison Flaw, like "How can we be sure that what's true for small-scale will be true for large-scale?" It's trying to be an argument that pits two points of view against each other (li...

Re: Q5 - Home ownership is a sign of

Hi! Still not quite sure how A addresses the part of the paradox regarding 'home ownership is an economic prosperity' Part 1 of the paradox - home ownership is an economic prosperity Part 2 of the paradox - High levels of home ownership across the region sees high unemployment levels Owning a home m...

Re: Q15 - Ninety percent of recent

ohthatpatrick Wrote:D) This is close to the right gist, but "most" isn't definite, and this doesn't give us a rule that delivers us the conclusion.

If D was instead written: 'All consumers are aware...' instead of 'Most' -- would this be accurate?

Re: Q16

"(A) Tough choice! It seems logical to infer that the blackmail paradox didn’t exist in Rome; the paradox revolves around questions of legality, and the legality of blackmail wasn’t even part of the Roman system. But was it specifically because free speech protections comparable to those in Can...

Re: Q11 - Businesses frequently use customer surveys

With C -- Are we assuming that the businesses that didn't have the surveys didn't have complaints? They're not giving out the survey for the purposes of the study not because there are no complaints, right? Or am I misunderstanding the stimulus and the use of the survey among the two businesses were...

Am I understanding this then-- they were allowed to hunt sea otters after 1972, but were still prohibited from using sea otter pelts to produce handicrafts after 1972? I understood the whole point here was that they were still prohibited from hunting sea otters (the point of the two cases referenced...

Trying to figure out what up front inferences we're able to make before diving into the Qs -- aside from the explicit given rules and the following numerical distribution. This game really ate into my time -- trying to see if there are any upfront inferences that I am missing? R3 - S1 - T2 R0 - S3 -...
