Re: Q21 - The new agrilcultural bill will

Yea I ruled out A and E immediately because I thought they were contrapositives and fell for B, thanks for the explanation I won't make that mistake again.

Q25

Can someBody please explain why this is E and not A? I don't understand how A is wrong, isn't A clearly stated in lines 27-31?

Re: Q4 - Newborns whose mothers are the primary caregivers . . .

I'm sorry I'm having a problem following the logic here. Geverett, you're saying that we can rule out D because it uses the term primary caregiver instead of mother and this leaves open too many possibilities. But C also uses the term primary caregiver so wouldn't it therefore be making the same mis...

Re: Q16 - Curator: Since ancient times

You make a pretty good point and I can see why D is the answer now, but why is C wrong? If we negate it" in contemporary societies, aristocracies and religious institutions are willing to help finance the fine arts", doesn't that tell us that "clearly contemporary societies should ful...

Re: Q21 - Attacks on an opponent's character

E: questions of character should be raised in political debate if they are relevant to the opponent's argument Contrapositive: if they are irrelevant to an opponent's argument questions of character should not be raised in political debate. I thought this bridged the gap, is this wrong because the c...

Re: Q10 - Great works of art have often elicited

You make a very good point but I am still very confused and would greatly appreciate if you could explain some more things to me. I was struggling between A and E and didn't even think about D. Since were told that art is often shocking, I was having trouble fitting "often" into the grand ...

Re: Q8 - Books updating the classification systems used by many

Yes you're right the error would have to be that the ploy is aimed at more than just libraries, the potential buyers are mentioned your logic is sound, thank you so much for clearing this one up for me! Also your example with just and only makes a lot of sense, for future reference can I always inte...

Re: Q8 - Books updating the classification systems used by many

Hi I have a question. I don't fully understand why B is the answer, I thought it was the trick answer in this case because the final sentence "Thus these frequent changes in the classification systems are just a ploy by the publishers to make libraries buy their product" never uses the wor...

Re: Q19 - If the flowers Drew received

I had the exact same thought process about why D is wrong Chang. Here is what I really dont understand about this question though. I was really torn between B and E and ended up choosing E because I thought the either or clause in the last sentence: "...either Drew was supposed to receive viole...

You're explanation made it much more likely that I won't confuse an analogy with an example again.

Thank you

Re: Q19 - Columnist: A recent study

I ended up choosing C because it seemed to go completely against the principle in the stimulus while all the others seemed irrelevant. This still caused me a lot of trouble though because I assumed consistent means relevant to or congruent or harmonious with. So for LSATS when I see consistent I sho...

Q25 - Formal performance evaluations

I chose E but I was a little unsure because it was question 25 and I thought that A might actually be it and there was a trick something like those 4 examples are not enough to support such a broad generalization. But I didn't see the word all so I decided the examples were good enough. Any thoughts...

Re: Q17 - Studies of the relibiality of eyewitness...

The only reason I picked A is because it bridges the weird logical gap between "certain factors can increase or undermine witness's confidence..." and the conclusion. Other than that I find this argument to be very strange and don't understand why confidence is a relevant issue that police...

Re: Q13 - Plant manager: We could greatly

I'm sorry but I still don't understand why E is wrong. I fully agree that B has a much broader scope and seems like a better answer but I don't think that's enough to rule out E. Our only clue as to what the supervisor disagrees with is that it has to do with fuel efficiency. Reheating the solid cop...

Re: Q22

I agree that D is the answer but I had trouble eliminating A, the passage says that scholars from the 19th and 20th centuries found the sources useful to write about medieval law, the problem is that they don't say anything about how theseblaws actually affected women, so wouldn't this suggest that ...

Q13

I had it down to A and B and didn't like that A had the word arbitrary, also lines 42-45 seem to show support that there was disagreement over the absence of a standard dialect, so why is A the answer?
