Re: Q16

I was wondering why answer choice A) is incorrect. I now get why E is the correct answer but I cannot explain away A) for some reason. S: H, Y, G M: X P: F, W, I That doesn't seem to violate any rules does it? H is in the same department as Y, F is in a different department than G, and Feng is in a ...

Re: Q7 - Failure to rotate crops

Hi, I found this question and explanation to be very confusing. The diagramming made no sense to me at all (don't understand why DS was diagrammed to be ~DS). Wouldn't that imply that the soil is not depleted? The diagramming just seems kind of different from the way I learned in my old TestMasters ...

Re: Q7 - Failure to rotate crops

Also, how does the argument leave open for the possibility that pesticides could be used? It says "all other things being equal, if vegetables are grown in soil that has had fertilizer applied rather than being grown in non-fertilized soil, they are more vulnerable to pests and as a consequence...

Q3 - Nylon industry spokesperson: Even

Could someone explain why (C) is the correct answer instead of (E)? I guess the only thing I can come up with against (E) si that if you took a couple of natural substances and put them together to create something synthetic but I'm not sure if that totally explains away (E) and I'm still not sure I...

Q7 - A typical gasoline-powered lawn

Not sure I get why (C) is wrong and (A) is right. The stimulus says that gasoline mowers emit about the same as an automobile. Not seeing how (A) makes sense unless it's that lawns in and of themselves clean the air (by replacing pollutants with oxygen) by simply existing so the use of gasoline powe...

Re: Q7 - A typical gasoline powered lawn mower

I'm staring at my answer key and it still says (A). That's why I posted it. I was so dumbfounded that as to how (A) could be correct. :? Now I'm starting to second guess some of my other ACs on questions. For example, my answer key has the answer for #10 as (A) as well but the explanation on this fo...

Q2

Can someone explain answer (D) for me? I don't why it's (D) even though I got it right. I had a hard time picking between (D) and (A) and just went with (D) on gut. I think it has to do with ln 4 but 2/3s of the 80 women who wrote memoirs being of the upper class. Is it then based on lines 7-8? Also...

Re: Diagram

For question 13, does it mean that a suspect confesses before Z or does it mean that Z goes in spot 2 and what's before it is open?
