Re: Q3

I would say D is incorrect because it takes too narrow a scope. The only sort of evaluation of Rawl's theory occurs when the author says: it gives us an answer to "what justice requires", guarantees a minimum of primary goods, and is inherently re-distributive. But this really only capture...

Re: Q16

Passage A appears to contradict answer b), the author supports people using information others don't have. Plus "all the relevant information about a company is spread as quickly as possible" doesn't support b), instead more in line the contradiction

Re: Q5 - Everyone in Biba's neighborhood

I struggled with this question/answer choice B for the same reason as many of the previous posters. I think the issue is in the interpretation of "then Barton pool is open before noon". The writers meant for this to be interpreted as: when the Barton pool is open, it is open before noon. A...

Re: Q6

Just on the "claims" vs. "arguments" issue: The author never states any arguments made by the strict constructionists. Instead she just describes the claims they make. They are: natural selection is responsible for BOTH: "every aspect of every species' form and behavior"...

Re: Q8

[/quote] But, I'm failing to understand why C is wrong and why B is right. Skinning animals is cited as a creating wealth, but it's being sold for real currency, right? Which Passage B author would say that sale should be taxed. And fishing in the ocean shouldn't be taxed unless sold. I thought they...

Re: Q9

I think the original poster issue is he/she assumed the issue of passage B, how taxation should figure into in game transactions, was at issue in passage A. But it wasn't, as taxation was never mentioned. Instead the issue was something along the lines of "what do we make of this phenomena?&quo...

Re: Q10 - One adaptation that enables an animal species to

I got this one right by narrowing it down to A + C. I found A was weak for its lack of explanation , but C was also weak because of "many" and different to humans doesn't necessarily mean black and white colouration works as camouflage versus them. However, I choose C because I felt it fit...
