Re: Q13 - Using rational argument in advertisement

Is C wrong because it doesn't present another option? It just says not to do the same option. I took the passage in a broad sense as, doing something doesn't work, so if you do he opposite, it will work. E matched up w/ my reasoning in that sense. C was my next AC, but it did not present another opt...

Q7

I was down to AC C/D w/ this one. C was appealing because of the dire conditions presented in the AC, but, I dunno why, I was taking the grain mill as more of an urban, city aspect, compared to AC D where the farm life was mentioned. Also, in AC D, the painting caricaturing Mao Zedong made me believ...

Re: Q9 - Theories generated by scientific research

Got this one correct after some time trying to parse out all the info in this stimulus. Feel free to pick apart my reasoning; I'm just doing this to help myself and hopefully others. Conclusion: the scientists who conducted the research should not be held responsible. Why?: they only generated these...

Re: Q19 - Chronic insomniacs participated in a

I guess I understand why the placebo effect cannot be explained by the 2 weeks good and 1 week dropoff, so the tolerance of this drug has no relevance... but how does AC D explain that they returned to their insomniac ways? I guess the answer will be, because, well, they're insomniacs. But, if they ...

Re: Q18 - New Age philosopher: Nature

I chose E on this question mainly through PoE, but which words in the stimulus alert one to say that the best way to understand something as having certain properties ONLY through those properties? I was a little hesitant on the blind review. I'm assuming since they say this is the best way, that be...

Re: Q18

With these questions, do we have to pick the word choice simply because of what the word means? Or do we have to consider how it was used in that line reference?

M********* :| Excuse my french. I just BR'd this PT and got to this question. I chose A because I did not correctly identify the conclusion fully. This post is more of me ranting to help myself and others. I somewhat zoned out of the most productive part as I continued reading. I was just reading ab...

Re: Q22 - Economist: Real wages in this country

I was down to D/E here, and chose E, but I am missing how the "currently" part in the AC E rules it out? Doesn't the stimulus say that this current trend is likely to continue for several more years (the near future)? So the current investments (in AC E) would also include the near future,...

Re: Q17 - Certain instruments used in veterinary

I get why B is right. Reading the question during drilling, I was a little confused by the wording, "required for each complete sterilization". I'm assuming that means one sterilization of the 50 total sterilization, hence why it has to be false.

Re: Q9 - Letter to the editor:

Would just like to point out that the passage has more to do w/ the fatalities occurring in one region versus another region. The high speed v. low speed fatalities is somewhat of a smoke screen. When doing this problem, I was focusing on the the fatalities either being high speed or low speed. It r...

Re: Q2 - For years, a rare variety

^^ Maybe, but that's still somewhat of an assumption. AC A is just the best one that explains a new reason for the accelerated death rate. The real problem is that these unexploded bombs are from the time period including when the weapons range was still open. This is not a new occurrence, this has ...
