Re: Q20 - To date, most of the proposals

The one thing I didn't like about answer choice E was "Thus, if the next artifact found at the site is made of stone..." I thought it was implying only the next immediate finding, as opposed to the stimulus which was much broader, " any future proposal... will probably be passed as we...

Re: Q18 - An art historian argues that because fifteenth-century

Can someone explain the language of Answer Choice C? I couldn't decipher it during the test, but felt it was along the lines of, taking an argument that is necessary to disprove an argument, to mean that it sufficiently disproves the argument.

Re: Q26 - Farmer: Crops genetically engineered

Re: Q12 - Commentator: The Duke of Acredia argued long ago

Thanks for the question and response. I'll put up a complete explanation for posterity, but the quick punchline for the original poster is, "you're right. B is wrong because of ALWAYS." (B) is identical to (D), except for "absence ALWAYS LEADS to failure" vs. "absence is AS...

Q26 - All oceangoing ships...

I don't understand why C isn't a viable answer. I took C to be negating a possible problem, of, "Maybe sea creatures can wreak havoc even if they don't survive being offloaded! Maybe their corpses could add pollutants to that area of the sea?" I saw that E was a necessary assumption as wel...
