Re: Q2 - Shareholder: The company's current

Why does higher inherent risk mean more possibility of losing money?

Risk is abroad and generic so it could mean anything - not just losing money. In my opinion that deduction is overreaching. :(

anyone?

I guess you refer to E. Same question here. It seems that international law is only mentioned in Passage A, which is never, even once, mentioned in the passage B.

Re: Q13

I have some doubts on (A). Localized population reduction is only mentioned in passage A, but not mentioned in passage B. According to passage B, the impact of PL is "the tyrannical influence of a life-destroying invasive weed". I don't think population reduction is the same thing as tyran...

Re: Q15 - Humans are supposedly rational

Hi, I have some doubts on answer(B). If we change it to "takes for granted that humans are aware that they pollute the environment", would it be a good answer? When I was reading the stimulus, the first thought came to me is that maybe humans do this without any knowledge, just like we con...

Re: Q20 - Whoever murdered Jansen was undoubtedly

Is there anyone who notices there might be a key point we might have misses - what if Jansen murdered himself?

That's why I chose (D), to rule out this possibility.

Any thoughts?

Re: Q16 - Zoos have served both as

First, Nearly All is equivalent to Most in LSAT conditional logic language. I could buy 60% of the bananas in a fruit stand, and say that I purchased nearly all of them. Second, Answer D is flawed, because the stimulus only says that "most NEW zoo animals are obtained from captive breeding pro...

Q6

Does anyone see why not choice A?

The passage discusses novelty as well as comparison. I don't see why it doesn't fit.

Choice D is more like a statement of a fact, while choice A seems the author's VALUE.

Re: Q28

I understand the verdicts for all of the answer choices except for D. I'll give it a another shot: answer choice D is something that DOES happen in those lines - the author shows that Lumi and Spiritualism coincided only because that Expansion (which aided the development of Lumi) happened to occur...

Re: Q9 - in each of the last ten years, there have been few comp

I was thrown off by E because of the term "legal remedy". Its one thing to have "few complaints" and another to seek "legal remedy". So when I read this answer choice I felt like it wasn't strong enough, since people could still complain without seeking legal remedy. I...

Re: Q27

I picked (A) because of lines (12 - 17). "As members of a group feel more accepted by the others, they acquire greater freedom to say what they really think, becoming less likely to use deceitful arguments or to play it safe by dancing around the issues with vapid or conventional comments.&quo...

Re: Q27

The question asks what's true of physics community during 1930s. This period actually includes Meitner's discovery.
Even if some early physicists neglected the theoretical developments, she didn't.

Re: Q24 - Ringtail opossums are an Australian

I think the word "diet" in answer C is kind of misleading. If we assume "diet" means " the kind of food they have been feed upon", then answer C is irrelevant. However, if we assume it means "the kind and the amount", then it does somehow rule out the possibi...

Re: Q20

I have a concern for choice D. Is it a bit extreme to say Pocock's work "insists on a dichotomy" since according to the line 50 and following, he has admitted...he realizes he was wrong. I think this is an evidence for that he does not "insist on" the single dichotomy, Can anyone...

Re: Q9

I stuck between (C) & (E). Unfortunately, I picked (E). I could not differentiate the between the two choices. Looking at Line 11, it says the guy pioneered the use of massively parallel computers. Would not that mean that he was the first to use massively parallel computers? Someone stated tha...
