Re: Q21 - Some people have been promoting

In regards to choice (D), can anyone show what a generalization would look like? I would really appreciate any feedback! Ex. Everyone in the grocery store at 7pm on the 15th of the month must be receiving government assistance, living paycheck to paycheck, etc and thus must be lazy and not willing ...

Re: Q20 - Quality control investigator: Upon testing

I'm having trouble understanding why A is so quickly eliminated. Here is my thinking... 20% of the samples tested proved defective Supplier is contractually obligated to keep "defects" below 5% Understanding this, could you argue that this is in fact a sampling issue? Maybe the "defec...

Re: Q12 - Criminologist: The main purpose of most

Not sure if anyone responds to these posts anymore, but any help would be awesome! Thanks Christine for the great response and for providing clarity to a murky question. I chose B and understand why D is the credited response, although I am still of the belief that B is too close to being correct, e...

Re: Q23 - It is widely believed that

It doesn't appear that anyone either reads or posts here with any frequency anymore, but here it goes... This question is flat out wrong and to negate answer choice C demonstrates the egregious nature of this question and elements of this exam as a whole. We are told that it is in fact morally corre...

Re: Q25

If anyone could clarify this that would be great. I am wondering why we would eliminate (A)? We are obviously looking for the one choice that CANNOT be inferred from the passage, but how can (A) not be inferred?? If you start with a longer initial line segment, the resulting figure or shape will be ...

Re: Q7 - Scientist: Any theory that is to be taken seriously

I agree with the previous post. I chose (C), but this question is odd. Am I missing something about the general view of astrology?? Obviously, astrology changes our perception of the world, but it also is a theory that dates back to Nostradamus, Ptolemy, etc. That said, astrology obviously has numer...

Re: Q25 - Chef: This mussel recipe's first

This is one of the best examples demonstrating the difference between a sufficient assumption/necessary assumption question that I have come across. (B) is sufficient for the argument to be valid, but not necessary, or "required" as expressed directly in the prompt. If you were to negate (...
