Re: PT 50 g 4 A child eating alphabet soup

ok.......just figured it out.

What i said was correct. However, i see my flaw.

If U=y then w and z are left as possible choices. There is no restriction that w and z cant be together in "1". Thus A.

PT50, S2, Q10 - Recently, the city council passed

I did this problem the first time and selected as my answer E.

Came back to this problem a 2nd time (after some time) and again i selected E.

I know the answer is B but i just dont see the logic. Can somone help?

I mean i see why B could be the answer..........i just dont see why E cant.

Re: PT 51, S3, Q22 - Food that is very high in fat tends to be

Hi,

No i am not positive brownies are healthier.

Looking at just the statement. "Foods high in fat "tend" to be unhealthy". I guess that this means NOT ALL foods high in fat are unhealthy. So it is possible that the cookies although high in fat are not unhealthy.

Re: PT 51, S3, Q22 - Food that is very high in fat tends to be

To be honest i am not sure.

When i did this problem i came up with the following:

Note: ~ denotes "not"

FatFood --> ~healthy
Healthy --> ~Fatfood

Brownies --> ~Fatfood
Cookies --> Fatfood

I guess the flaw might be that Brownies are "healthy". But why?

PT 51, S3, Q22 - Food that is very high in fat tends to be

I know the answer is either B or D. I think the answer is B but my reasoning is not sound. My reason for choosing B has more to do with NOT choosing D than choosing B because it matches. Could someone diagram this out. I have a really hard time with these type of questions. Can anyone provide some i...

Re: PT 51, S1, Q15 - A contention of many of my colleagues

ok...i see.

The Sociologist makes two claims to support his argument:
1) "high differential means that companies will be able to hire freely"
2) "social friction develops because of static wages"

The assumption has to "tie" the two together. The only choice is A.

PT 51, S1, Q15 - A contention of many of my colleagues

I know the answer is A. But isnt A just a restatment of the argument?

Why is A the best answer?

Re: PT 49 S1 Q18-22 Exactly eight computer processor chips

Other things:
1) If O is not at 8 then F/G is at 1 and eight.
2) You can not have KH.
3) Can have HK as long as O comes after L.
4) K can only be in position 2, 3, or 4

Re: PT 49 S1 Q18-22 Exactly eight computer processor chips

I have a diagram but for some reason could not figure out a way to do so. 1: Can only be F/G 2: Can not be J, O, L 3: Can not be J, O, L 4: Can not be O, L 5: Can not be K, O 6: Can not be H, K 7: Can not be H, K 8: Can not be M, J , H, L, K 8: Can only be either O, F/G But even with this diagram th...

Q22

I have a question about Q22: I must be missing something here because i get that all of them cant be true. I know i am wrong but for argument sake let me tell you what i was thinking: If T is in second and we know that U<=x, U comes after T then U and X are in the 3rd. U must equal y or U must eq...

Re: PT 51, S1, Q20 - Only experienced salespeople will be able

In reviewing your answer and then re-reading the problem i had a question. The first sentence as you stated goes something like....... "experienced salespeople make quota". Then the 2nd sentence something like "since i am not experienced i wont make quota". So shouldnt the diagra...

Re: PT 51, S1, Q20 - Only experienced salespeople will be able

I think i just figured it out......but wanted confirmation. B and C are very similar in their statements. However, in the argument there is a wording of "I must not count". If you look at "C" the wording is "may expect" which is not like the wording of the argument. How...
