Q12 - Politician: Those economists who claim

So, I narrowed it down to C and D. I see how D is correct, but why not C? It seems like the politician claims something is not true (the 3 percent increase) by bringing up examples of how it has been not so with the much higher increases in the things he listed. I do see how it is a small sample, so...

Q5

I can't get question 5 right. If I put L in 3 and L in 9th, this would give me the maximum separation?

Wouldn't JKLJMKMOL work?

Re: PT34, S4,G1 - Jill, Kurt, Larisa, Manny, and Olga

Oh boy, no wonder why! haha I was looking at the answer choices thinking, gee there are 2 or 3 that or correct what the hell? This is probably why I am stuck in the 150s. :(

Q21 - It is highly likely that

I narrowed it down to B and E. Is B incorrect because it says people who have not heard of rather than people who are not classical pianists and have not heard of? I crossed out E because to me this was right in the argument. It said the vast majority of people who are not classical pianists do not....

Re: PT 44, S2, Q21 - It is highly likely that Claudette is a

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I can see why B is incorrect since the argument says people have never heard of CS and that others do not recognize her works. It never makes the leap that B does. I still don't see how E is correct though. I get your NYC example, but the text in the argument is ...

Re: PT 44, S2, Q21 - It is highly likely that Claudette is a

I had to read that stimulus maybe 30 times to realize the premise in the argument was different from what answer choice E said. What if answer choice B said ignores the possibility instead of presumes? Could this be more plausible then. The word ignore in front of E is something I missed when readin...

Re: PT44, S2, Q22 All the evidence so c far gatherd fits

Ok, I see your reasoning. I just don't get how B does not work as well.

(B) has a conclusion that matches the evidence of the stimulus. So, not the answer

Doesn't this mean it still has the same erroneous reasoning?

Re: pt45 S4 Q20 polling data reveal

So, on these tougher questions particularly in the teens or 20s, if the structure matches and you are down to 2 answer choices it is a good idea to see if the answer choices actually have a flaw or sound logic? I noticed that if I pick an incorrect answer it is because I picked something with an ide...

Re: Preptest 40, Section 2, Game 3 - Each nonstop flight offered

This game is driving me mad. I started it off quite similarly to the posted diagram. I made 3 diagrams to outline 3 scenarios. One where P and T are connected, one where P and V are connected, and finally one where this is not the case. This worked well for the first three questions. Despite the exp...

Re: Preptest 40, Section 2, Game 3 - Each nonstop flight offered

I have the same scenario as the one you posted as my #1. Then my second one looks the same as the one you posted except I have T with P. So under P, I filled in a T and took out one slot since V can't go in. Under T, I also put in a P. Under V, I took out one slot since P can't be there. It's the sa...

Re: Preptest 40, Section 2, Game 3 - Each nonstop flight offered

Hmm, I am going to give the Logic Challenge one a try since it is similar. The thing that worries me about these games is that they are so rare they are bound to pop out again. I believe a lot of people consider them to be mapping games. I took a second look, and I am doing alright. It's just it is ...

Re: Fortnightly Logic Game #4 - wrong answer on game Q2?

Can someone who got this game upload an explanation with a diagram? I am struggling on these mapping games. I only got the first question right from this.
