Q15 - Anderson maintains that travel

So I originally chose (C) during preptest but was able to select in (E) when reviewing it. Here's my understanding: Conclusion: Although travel writing has changed in this time, Anderson is too harsh on contemporary travel writers. The first sentence is what the author purported to refute, and there...

Q10 - Even in a democracy

I was able to correctly chose (C), but I was tempted by (B) during the preptest. I'll try to break it down: --if the info is of commercial/national-security value, it's dissemination needs to be restricted. --if the destination is to current/future competitors/enemies, the dissemination of that type...

Re: Q13 - Companies wishing to boost

The argument states that companies should use these in-store displays if they want to boost their sales. Ok. Why should they use these displays to boost their sales? Well, there's this study that states that because of time restraints, 2/3 of buyers make their buying decisions on the spot . So, con...

Re: Q13 - Companies wishing to boost

I see, so it would be a strengthener at most...oh no, not even, since we don't know if it's a positive/negative influence.

Re: Q2 - A director of the Rexx

I get your logic. I initially chose this one too, but when reviewing it I realized it gives us another reason to choose medicine over vaccine (why would you get an injection when there are pills that are equally effective?). So this can be interpreted as the opposite of what we are looking for.

Re: Q15 - Copyright was originally the grant

Yeah I need some clarification on this one too. I originally picked D) but then I realized it's hurting the argument instead of supporting it. If there's no practical way to enforce the right, it would NOT even fulfill the original purpose, not to mention going beyond. A)the way to circulate ideas i...

Re: Q21 - Philosopher: To explain the causes

I got this one right but I had some uncertainties when picking the answer. Here's my thought: The first sentence is the conclusion while the rest is used as support. A) This one feels wrong but I had a hard time identify the problem. "Need for certainty" sounds like a distortion of the tex...
