Q7 - Talbert: Chess is beneficial

I find it difficult to infer in LSAT terms that Talbert is spporting teaching chess.The only thing Talbert says is it is benificial.

pls help.thanks!!

You do want to be careful about making unsupported inferences or straying too far from the text in the stimulus, but in this case, it’s not a very big leap to infer that Talbert advocates teaching children chess. They can’t reap its benefits without learning it. Moreover, the other answer choices are clearly out:

(A) Skylar doesn’t mention mental maturity.

(B) Same as with (A).

(C) Talbert doesn’t mention social value or science.

(E) is not something supported by either person.
