Q7 - Lack of exercise produces

by Aquamarine Mon Nov 24, 2014 9:16 pm

I chose E which is a right answer because C didn't mention about drug which was a sentence right before the blank, so it makes more sense to me.
But I thought C could be an answer too at first.

Can anyone enlighten me why C can't be and E has to be an answer?

Thanks!

(C) is incorrect because we're not talking about PREVENTING aging but about slowing it down.

Make sense?

(A) is the opposite of what you've been told.
(B) and (D) aren't reasonable inferences.

What does Logical Completion mean? is it asking which answer choice best logically support the stimulus?

That's close. "Logical completion" in this question stem means that the correct answer is supported by the stimulus, not the other way around. The correct answer is a conclusion that can be drawn using the statements in the stimulus as premises.
