Hello. I am confused about the last question on the Patterson meets with six people for a workout. Are we supposed to go back to the original constraints that we used to diagram it out to figure it out? I think what I am finding confusing is the fact that Patterson is not included in the arrangement. Why is it that they took out the "workout" part that we saw in question 1?

Good question! The test-writer is simply seeing if you're comfortable with the ambiguity of not knowing where the "workout" goes.

To your question... the simple answer is yes. This is an orientation question. We simply follow the constraints, eliminating answer choices that violate those constraints. But wait! It appears that the first three constraints are no longer applicable. But that's not true.

We can establish :
S -- Y -- T and
U -- R

Use those to eliminate the incorrect answers and I think you'll be able to find the correct answer with relative ease, good luck!
