Thanks for your post. This is a hard conditional question. Here we’re given the new piece of information that F is not first. We already know that H and K can’t go first since they must respectively follow J and G. That leaves us with only G, L, and J to go first. I found it helpful to make three quick frames that placed G, L, and J in the first slot. I’ve attached those frames below.
The question asks what "could be true," which means our wrong answer choices "must be false." The three frames (again, attached below) allowed me to eliminate B, C, D, and E as "must be false:"
B) must be false. According to our frames, G must go in slots 1, 2, 3, or 4.
C) must be false. 3 pm is already filled in frames 1 and 3. In frame 2, 3 pm is open. However, we would violate the J"”H rule if we put H in slot 3 here.
D) and E) must be false. J must go in slots 1, 3, or 4.
Remember that quick frames on conditional questions can make eliminating wrong answer choices a breeze.
