1. election --> vote or ~vote
2. vote --> satisfaction
3. ~vote --> no right to complain
C: election --> satisfaction or no right to complain

It's just
1. A --> B or ~B
2. B --> C
3. ~B --> D
C: A --> C or D

(A)
1. rent --> insurance or ~insurance
2. insurance --> covered
3. ~insurance --> liable
C: accident --> better to be insured!
The conclusion doesn't match!

(B)
1. walk --> relaxed or not relaxed
2. relaxed --> not sore, though more likely to be conditioned if sore
Bad match at this point!

©
1. attend school --> stimulating or ~stimulating
2. teachers motivated --> stimulating
Bad match!

(D)
1. computer --> readable or ~readable
2. readable --> password
3. ~readable --> encrypted
C: computer --> protected or encrypted
Perfect match!

(E)
1. natural resource --> efficient or ~efficient
2. ~efficient --> depleted resource
3. efficient --> last much longer
C: efficient or fined
Bad match at the very end!

I narrowed it down to C and D, but was thrown off by D's assumption that password protection / electronic encryption are binaries. The option says if the messages are easily readable, they are "merely password protected". Perhaps answers not easily readable are electronically encrypted AND password protected? So, the conclusion's shift to a clean "either/or" situation threw me off.

Any thoughts on this?

I'm not sure how this would change the argument and make it not parallel to the stimulus?

Even if they are both, they'd also be "or."

Is the argument in the stimulus considered as circular reasoning?
