Thank you! Also, I didn't see this in your solution, but can't you immediately eliminate E because if Y is third, then Q isn't third which means Q--S--Y is a rule, which would force Q and S into 1 and 2, respectively, which would put them consecutively which isn't allowed? Thanks

Yes, indeed. Thanks for pointing that out. That might be a little too "I have to picture several things in my mind's eye" to qualify as an obvious first pass elimination, but it depends on the test taker.
