Hey-hey. In the future, if you want explanations for more than one question, create a separate post for each question (otherwise, other students wouldn't know to look at Q2 for an explanation to Q4).

Here's a link to Q4:
q4-t8437.html

In terms of Q2,
there's no great way to draw Relative Ordering trees in this typing environment, but essentially we know that

G, K - (HF)
and
K - J

Q2 is a Conditional question that gives us a new rule to add, which is J - G.

When conditional questions give you a new rule (as opposed to just telling you where to put something like, "If J is 3rd ..."), you should always start by trying to link up the new rule with the permanent rules.

Linking up J - G, we get

K - J - G - (HF)

So we actually know everything about this crew except for whether 4 and 5 are HF or FH.

You can write a number line on your page:
K J G (H F)

Since this question is a Could Be True, the correct answer will almost certainly deal with H or F, since they are the only flexible parts remaining.

I would scan for answers involving H or F and I see that (A) works.

(B) is impossible because G must be 3.
(C) is impossible because H must be 4 or 5.
(D) is impossible because J must be 2.
(E) is impossible because K must be 1.

Hope this helps.
