I selected the incorrect answer which is ~D -> G. I chose this answer because "only if" introduces a necessary condition and G followed the necessary condition indicator. So I thought that D could not be selected unless G, the necessary condition, was selected. This is what the wrong answer captures but it's the wrong answer! The correct answer is D -> ~G. I don't understand why the correct answer is right.
Hmmm, mharr, your reasoning seems pretty sound to me. ~D --> G should be the correct answer. Seems like you're getting errors. We're going to look into a glitch in the system; thanks for bringing this to our attention!
Thank you for the response! Some of those answers really threw me for a loop! I thought that my understanding of conditional relationships was completely wrong after taking the quiz.
I do not know if this matters or not, but I took the quiz using my phone. Maybe that has something to do with the errors?
