Where in the passage does it suggest his work was "limited in perspective?" I'm not totally convinced that (B) is incorrect. Could someone please explain?

I would say "limited in perspective" is supported by lines 53-60. The rest of (B) is supported by the author's thesis at the end of the passage.

Just to go through the others for fun:

(A) is wrong because "fundamentally flawed."

(C) is unsupported. The author doesn't say he does this.

(D) is too narrow and misses the whole discussion about the missionaries.

(E) is the opposite of what the passage tells us.
