I am having trouble understanding why E is the correct answer on number 15.

From what I can deduce there are two options for placing the hostile witness bloc. If Z is placed on Thursday, is it not possible to leave Monday and Tuesday open?

Perhaps the question is asking which day can be absolutely constrained? Any insight is appreciated!

If you leave Monday and Tuesday open, how will you have room fro U, Y, and QR all to be interviewed before X?



Don't forget the question stem. By forcing Y before R, we'll be required to reserve Friday and Saturday for hostile witnesses.
