What is the quickest/most efficient way to tackle this question? Just try and see which pairs could be on Tuesday? (none could be on Wednesday since all options contain hotels)

This question is answerable from inferences given the following constraints:

GJL cannot be on inspected on Wednesday (only SVZ can).
G must come before J.

If G is with V on Monday; then, J must follow on Tuesday given that J cannot be on Wednesday.

B is the correct answer.

If G is inspected on Tuesday, G must be inspected in the morning and J must be inspected in the afternoon, because no hotels can be inspected on Wednesday.

Thus, you can eliminate C and D because they don't have J on Tuesday afternoon.

A) and E) has L in the afternoon, which means that Z is in the morning.

However, the rules tell us that when Z is the morning, L must also be in the morning.

Therefore, B) is correct via the process of elimination.
