This game hinges on a chain with 5 of the 6 characters, with one floater who can go anywhere.
The chain:
Sc - SgRg - Tg - Tc
The floater:

(A) YES! It's impossible to put any of the g's in spot 1, since Sc has to come earlier.
(B) Avoidable: Sc | Rc | SgRg | Tg | Tc
(C) Avoidable: the scenario we just wrote proves that.
