"inferred" / "implies" / "suggests" question stems are all about finding a line reference to support/prove the correct answer choice.
They are NOT license to speculate. The incorrect answers almost always contain an ingredient that's out of scope or too extreme.
Another common trap answer makes a comparison that the passage never made.
A) "most" is a dead giveaway. Nothing in the passage matches that degree modifier.
B) sure, we just saw this in Q12. Lines 50-52 support this.
C) We know Chinese considered wild mustard a valuable spice, but nothing about Europeans.
D) "it is not worthwhile" is way too extreme of an opinion. Plus, the "actions of Europeans settlers" are just never discussed.
E) no evidence about Asian settlers' "written records" being neglected and lost.
(B) is the answer.
