Q12

by geverett Fri Sep 02, 2011 10:47 pm

This question gave me a hard time. I got to the correct answer choice, but not without a good fight. Here are the line referenced I used to eliminate the four incorrect answer choices.

(A) Lines 15 - 17
(C) Lines 24 - 28
(D) Lines 13 - 15
(E) Lines 17 - 21

As always, any additional thoughts, questions, or disagreement is welcome!

Is "dilemmas" in C a little bit leaping since it's not explicitly mentioned in the passage?

I was down to C and B - I initially chose B. C was tempting for me because it mentioned ancient Greece, which wasn't explicitly stated when referring to the dilemmas; it does mention that the oath was apparently created in ancient Greece though. Thus, C is more accurate in relation to B, which is clearly never mentioned.
