I now see that B is correct, but am struggling to rule out E.

There are some pretty big initial inferences to this game, so make sure you check out the pdf on this thread:

We know there are two confessions in spots 5, 6, 7.
And we know that nothing after W can confess. So W would either have to be 6 or 7 in order to fit in those two confessions in 5/6/7.

But we also know we have W - S.

So it looks like W has to be 6 and S has to be 7.

We know S didn't confess (since it's after W), so 5 and 6 have to be confessions.

With Z before X and V, we know that Z is 1 or 2.

(A) X can't go first. It's earliest is 2 (Z comes before it)

(B) Sure!
Z V T X Y W S is legal

(C) Z is 1 or 2. If it were 4, there would be no room for X and V in spot 5.

(D) W is on day 6.

(E) S is on day 7.
