Hey Nina,

Yeah, I think this question is pretty surprisingly guessable. I'd just go through the answers and think out a quick diagram:

A)

L S X S L
L S X S X

Look at that, easy to break! Correct!

B) This should be fairly easy to infer. If a lizard is male, there will only be one male reptile left, so at least one of the snakes next to the lizard will be female, breaking one of the rules.

(C) Again, looking at the diagram, it's impossible. This would break the constraint given within the question stem.

(D) Same as (C), really.

(E) This is just a question of counting. There are 7 reptiles and we know that house 3 is empty. That leaves 8 slots, so one more needs to be empty, forcing a reptile to be alone.
