10. (E) Question Type: Unconditional.

This sort of question, in which we’re given no condition to limit the possibilities, could lead us to spend too much time testing out answer choices. This is especially true because four of the answer choices will be possible, while only one will not. Instead of testing out each answer choice, let’s predict the answer by imagining that we have to write this question. How would we create an impossible answer? We need to list elements that somehow directly violate the constraints, or _ and this is more tricky and likely _ trigger a chain of events that will violate the constraints.

Looking at the answer choices for inspiration, all of them assign Jana F along with two other items, so we don’t need to consider the third constraint. Considering the first two constraints, we should look for an answer choice that triggers the second one. Since Georgette cannot receive either L or M, we’re looking for an answer that does not give L to Jana, but also does not give her P. This would be impossible since if Jana does not receive L, Rini would, triggering the second constraint and requiring that Jana receive P. (E) proposes just such an impossibility
