Sure thing! Just so you know for the future, you can’t get answers to multiple questions on the same thread. We have to keep things organized, so we created a separate Q4 thread. Here’s the link:
post30257.html?sid=7295b4d42303549856977e6b265cd282#p30257Q1 is what we call an Orientation question (the telltale sign is that each answer choice lists out complete scenarios involving all the "˜people’ in the game).
The best way to approach Orientation questions is to take one rule at a time and see if any answer choices break that rule.
We can start with rule 1 and work our way down, but here I would start with rule 4 and work our way up because rule 4 looks like the easiest to search for.
Rule 4 - P must be 3. Do any answer choices break that rule?
Yes, (C) does. So eliminate (C). Onto our next rule.
Rule 3 - M has to be before N. Do any of the remaining four choices break that rule?
Yes, (D) does. So eliminate (D). Onto our next rule.
Rule 2 - K and N can’t be next to each other. Do any of the remaining three choices break that rule?
Yes , (E) does. So eliminate (E). Onto our next rule.
Rule 1 - K and L have to have exactly one thing in between them. Do either of our remaining two choices break that rule?
Yes, (A) does. So eliminate (A).
(B) is the only answer that survived, so it must be correct.
Hope this helps.
