What do you guys think?
For me:
Pros: Future test takers won’t have to spend the gruesome hours learning how to graph games, the different types, how to conceptualize and use abstract thinking for games, etc.
Cons: Knowing how LSAC is, I figure they will make the new logical reasoning section either ridiculously hard at first, or insanely time consuming. They aren’t going down without a fight and definitely aren’t making the test any easier.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if they ramp up LR difficulty to the point where they introduce more formal logic questions and formal theory application as apposed to basic flaw, conditional language, the necessary/sufficient problems, etc- which in my opinion, formal logic takes more time to learn than logic games (unless you’re a philosophy major or have the intuition for logical thinking).
Another Con: Not knowing fully what to expect until LSAC releases tests for review…
