Do Principle-Support questions always have to connect the premises and the conclusion?

Hey Samuel,

Yep. That's what they do!

Principle Support questions are fundamentally the same as Assumption questions (necessary + sufficient). Basically, you're adding a principle that connects up the core.

Of course, we need to be careful with saying ALWAYS on the test. Occasionally, an argument will have a structure more like this:

Premise --> Intermediate Conclusion --> Main Conclusion

In that case, sometimes the principle/assumption ends up between the premise and intermediate conclusion, as opposed to between the premises and the main conclusion. This isn't a huge difference, but I thought I'd mention it. : )
