I'm guessing there are lots more usages of computer-generated displays and video in order to show what the crime scene was like, or actually was, because there are cameras everywhere, literally. I find that it's easier for me to approach if the topic is within my interest.
Here is my Passage Analysis:
P1: Use of computer-generated display brings a big explanatory advantage / psychological impact — study backed up / Especially helpful in Technical trial.
P2: Potential for abuse or unintentional misuse / mesmerized and less critical / One-sided use of technology — expense / Manipulation / inherently misleading.
P3: Steps to be taken - Counsel must be alert, judges should be vigilant, forward jurors, and permit same opportunity to use the technology for both side.
Overall: While there are benefits in using computer graphic display, there are doubts from critics, so some steps must be taken to resolve these.
