Pico union struggle brought unprecedented coalition in a sense of Korean American community.

Results were:
1) reducing generation gap for second-generation Korean Americans
2) Raising Political consciousness.
3) Establishing globalized perspective and international tie from recent immigrant groups — Working-class immigrants from China as an example
4) Developed a tie to labor and social group — African American unions and Labor Union Woman.

Reason for the above outcomes: difference in community has been overcome by the common goal and ideology.

P4:
Lesson - Not only knowledge of history and culture is important, but also identification and participation are important in empowering ethnic communities of immigrant derivation.

Overall: Pico Struggle resulted in positive results with the reason for common goal overcoming community difference, which gives us a lesson of important of identification and participation.
