LGs with 15 minutes to spare

by interestedintacos Tue Feb 22, 2011 6:34 pm

Another test prep company claimed that a "180 test taker" can complete the logic games section with 15 minutes to spare? Is that accurate? Have you guys heard of anyone doing that? Can the writers of the MLSAT strategy guide do that?

I like this! It has the aura of a hero-myth.

I don't score 180s, but I'll ask my colleagues who get close. My recollection from working with them is that they do finish with some time to spare, but not 15 minutes. I'm sure there are folks who do finish that quickly.

The question is, what does this mean for us mere mortals? In the end, all we can do is live out our puny lives, trying to speed up our inference-making abilities, and learn to move particularly fast on the easier games to buy time for the harder ones.
