Inference questions

How do you handle inference questions? do you restate what exactly the author is saying in the text?

Hey Polkey,

This isn't really a question that belongs where you posted it. This is much more general, about the meaning of the word inference. There have already been many posts about this (and a whole chapter of our books dedicated to them). HOWEVER, the short answer is that yes, inference questions are asking you about something that's already been stated (albeit in other terms). Good luck!
