Inference = must be true = Draw a conclusion?

I've observed that different names are associated with the "Inference" question type. Namely, "Must be true", "Inference" and "Draw/Derive a conclusion".

First off, confirm that the names above refer to the same question type. Sample prompts: "which of the following must also be true", "which one of the following can be properly inferred..." etc.

Here is my understanding of this question type:

Based on sufficient evidence (in the stimulus) what necessary conclusion (from the answer choices) can be drawn?
