In/Out Grouping Logic Chains

by JoyS894 Fri May 19, 2017 12:21 pm

Hi! Does anyone have advice for making the logic chains neater or what reasoning you use to decide the order of the elements on each side of the t-chart? I'm finding that I can usually get the diagram right, it's just pretty messy and hard to follow because of how I choose to order them. Thanks!

I asked this last week in class and one way is to start from the middle (i.e. do not start drawing the chain from the top but draw as if you are staring in the middle of the vertical chain) after reading the first rule. Then move on into the next rule that contains elements of the variables you just placed on paper in the middle and then build it from there (this may not be the "next" rule)

That way your chain is not going to be as messy since you built it more strategically instead of listing all the variables in the order the appeared in on the rules.
