I'm going over some conditional rules and I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the whole contrapositive thing.
For example... Eight people - F,G,H,I,J,K,L & M are split into two teams: Y & Z
If F is not on Y, J will be on Y... so would the contrapositive be... if IF J is on Z, F will also be on Y? If so how can we come to this conclusion. Wouldn't this conclusion be too far reaching?
Another example,
If i dont make dinner my gf will make dinner. Contrapositive : If my Gf makes dinner, I dont make dinner. Isn't this reaching too far? Because if my GF makes dinner I could also make dinner correct?? Sorry if I'm being confusing!
