V V V W W W Y Y Y Z Z Z

-V  F   ___  ___  ___  ___
     G   ___  ___  ___  ___  V, YW
      I    ___  ___  ___  ___  V - __ - V
             1    2      3    4
                               - Y

Xf --> -Xi
Xi --> -Xf
Vi - Vg - Vi

Since we can't have Y in 4, all three of the other letters have to be used: V, W, and Z. V can't be used in F because it's used in I, so F4 must be W or Z. V also can't be 4th in G because the V in G must come in between the Vs in I. So G4 also has to be W or Z. That means I4 has to be V:

-V  F   ___  ___  ___  W/Z
     G   ___  ___  ___  Z/W   V, YW
      I    ___  ___  ___   V      V - __ - V
             1      2      3     4
                                  - Y

From there, you could frame around the Z/W split in G4.

-V  F   ___  ___  ___   W
     G     Y     W     V     Z
      I    ___  ___  ___   V     V - __ - V
              1     2      3     4
                                  - Y

-V  F   ___  ___  ___   Z
     G   ___    V     Y     W
      I      V    ___  ___   V
             1      2      3      4
                                   - Y

The frames end up being really helpful on four of the questions, making quick work of what is otherwise kind of a slog. The other big thing to realize about this game is the numeric relationship between F and I. Since they can't share elements, and there are only 4 elements to go around, each has to have two elements.

Hello,

Can you please clarify rule number 3? "Yamamoto must visit Ghana in a month immediately preceding a month in which Watts visits Ghana". Does that mean every time Yamamoto is in Ghana is has to be before Watts? Or simply the YW chunk must happen at least once?

Based on the frames provided in the diagram I am having trouble finding a scenario where Q.23 is possible...
Thanks!
