I'm confused about the rules that talk about being adjacent. What do they mean?

"Adjacent" means "next to".

They use that term a lot in Ordering games.

In this scenario, S and Z are adjacent:
__ __ S Z __ __ __

In this scenario, S and Z are not adjacent:
__ __ S __ Z __ __

Chapter 2 is adjacent to chapter 1 and 3.
Chapter 3 is adjacent to chapter 2 and 4.

Make sense?

The other wording you'd usually see for this type of rule is "S cannot be immediately before or immediately after Z". Same meaning.

Hi, I started with three frames around the rule [ T _ _ W ] and then ended with seven by including the [ U W ] / [ W U ] chunk during the big pause. I just wanted to know if this was an effective use of my time or if there was a more effective approach. I've attached the frames below.

Hi Stephanie, I am not a professional here but I thought I would put my two cents in. I originally played this game without frames, which caused me to miss a few potential inferences. Once I framed it, T and W can only go in 2/5, 3/6, or 4/7 (3 frames total). This allowed me to to limit the placement of X in each frame, and thus limit the placement of U. This allowed me to answer all of the "If" questions relatively quickly as the two anti chunks and one chunk severely limited where each element could go. I could not access the frames you uploaded, but thought id let you know that the way I framed it was extremely effective :)
