This game looked easy at first but the questions seemed rough. I didn't really see a way of framing this game but Q18-20 were all really broad questions and only Q22 was a conditional question.

What is the best approach to doing this game? I ended up brute forcing my way and previous work; however, a mistake in my Q22 hypothetical game board carried over to incorrectly answering Q19, a MBT question that makes me wary of depending on previous work since it can magnify my mistake for a game like this one.

My set up
-- -- --
-- -- ---
M S T

G can't go in Sydney.
[Basically nothing on the diagram but a NOT G under Sydney]

Big Pause:
No floaters/strays
FH is a priority ; ensure it splits
I must somehow go twice always
G not in Sydney limits G to M and T
No frames?

I considered framing around "I" since there are 3 ways to divide up "I" but then there are also many different ways to divide the FH anti chunck ( at least at first glance it looks pretty free how to divide the anti-chunk) At the same time I feel like I am missing something 'big' in the game based of some of the MBT answers (e.g. like Q19) that I just don't see how to infer that during the Big Pause phase

This was a game, for me, where frames / inferences evolved as I went through the questions.

I initially wrote down the possible numbers for 4 ppl filling 6 spots:
1 1 1 3
or
1 1 2 2

Then a second later, I saw that 'i' went twice, so I knew we were dealing with
1 1 2 2

I framed the conditional rule, just so I would have a quick visual starting point. To frame a conditional, I do a world where the trigger happens and a world where the trigger doesn't happen.

I'm going to write scenarios in this style:
Man | Syd | Tokyo
__ __ | __ __ | __ __

If G is in M ... frame 1
G _ | _ _ | H _

If G is not in M ... frame 2
_ _ | _ _ | _ _
~G

Normally, I wouldn't frame a conditional, because you normally can't write anything for that 2nd frame, where you're saying someone DOESN'T go somewhere.

But G also can't go into Sydney, so this actually forces G to be in Tokyo.

If G is in M ... frame 1
G _ | _ _ | H _

If G is not in M ... frame 2
_ _ | _ _ | G _
~G

Plus, I started thinking, "Wait a sec ... there's only 3 other characters, so if G can't go somewhere, then I'm picking 2 out of 3. And now that I think about it, 2 of those 3 characters, F and H, are enemies! So only one of them can be used."

Thus we know that Manila will be
F/H and I

frame 2

F/H, I .... _ _ ....... G _

That was all I had when I embarked on questions.

After the Orientation question, I always do all the "If" questions next, so that I can play out some scenarios and better learn the game (plus, I can frequently use this previous work for easy eliminations on unconditional questions).

It wasn't until I was doing some IF questions that I realized the big inference I had missed up front:
the same logic applies to Sydney

Since G can't go there, we're picking 2 out of 3, from F H I.

But since FH are enemies, we'll only get one of them, and need I. I added this to my frames.

If G is in M ... frame 1
G __ .... F/H, I ......H __

If G is not in M ... frame 2
F/H, I .... F/H, I ..... G __

Since the two I's are done in frame 2, I noted that the final spot has to be F/H.

FINAL FRAMES

G __ ..... F/H, I ..... H, G/I

F/H, I ..... F/H, I ..... G, F/H

Can I see diagram in color and kinda like original drawings of diagrams from earlier tests, I cannot visualize it by
G__ _I

We don't have a way right now of inserting pictures into these posts (the 3rd party client we used no longer works).

So, yeah, it's pretty ugly to see it in this form. Here's a slightly cleaned up version:

FINAL FRAMES

Manila......Sydney......Tokyo
G, __ ........ F/H, I ....... H, G/I.........frame1

F/H, I.......... F/H, I........ G, F/H........frame 2
