Conditional Reasoning training

by elenadunaeva Thu Aug 04, 2011 12:58 am

I am sorry if my question is a bit out of scope. I have problems with Conditional Logic diagramming here and there. I’ve read LR Bible by PowerScore and Manhattan LR Strategy Guide. I still need some more exercise in complex diagramming. I’ve also noticed that GMAT takers often use LSAT questions for practice. Does GMAT also test the ability to diagram Conditional Reasoning and Formal Logic questions? :?: I just need some more material to master my diagramming technics for LSAT. Does Manhattan GMAT or other programs provide some books to train that skill? English is my second language, so fast diagramming of some complicated passages might really come handy.
Thank you in advance, :)

Let me preface my statement with, I'm not a GMAT expert. I only teach the LSAT. And I have only taken practice GMATs.

But from my understanding, some GMAT students use LSAT questions, but LSAT students don't typically use GMAT questions. The reason being that GMAT questions tend to be on the slightly easier side and preparing for the worst is a good idea.

As to the additional materials, I'll ask some of the GMAT experts over on the side and get back to you.
