If we were treating this like a Logic Game, we would think
FOUR PROGRAMS: S, P, H, and ?

FOUR SPOTS: __ __ __ __


H is in spot 3.

So we still have S, P, and the fourth program, whose type we don't know. The rule said that there is exactly one thing between S and P, so S and P could either be in spots 1 and 3, or in spots 2 and 4. Since we already have H in spot 3, S and P will have to go 2nd and 4th.

That means the mystery program is 1st.

The correct answer was "Sports is not first".

The incorrect answer was "Sports is first".
