I have an issue with this question.

It states:
Out of exactly four songs in a song contest, the country song was ranked second and the folk song was ranked higher than the rock song.

We can infer that...
A) The rock song was ranked no better than third.
B) The country song was ranked lower than the rock song

The correct answer was (A) when actually (B) seems to be the correct answer and doesn't violate the rules.
Ex.
1. Rock
2. Country
3. Folk
4. (some other song)

Help.

Remember that the folk is ranked higher than the the rock! I know this one is easy to mess up (I remember messing this one up back in the day), but "higher ranking" is actually a lower number. First is the highest rank and fourth is the lowest rank.

So you should end up with a scenario more like:

1: __
2: C
3: __
4: __

With the rule:

F
|
R

Hope that helps!
