Just a quick note to any student thinking about buying (or using) one of those LSAT watches on test day—don’t!

If you head to the official LSAC test-day policy page, you can see that chronograph watches are prohibited items. We’ve confirmed with the LSAC that this includes all of the available LSAT watches out there. On test day, just a good, ol’-fashioned analog watch is allowed.

It appears they changed this policy ahead of the June LSAT, but there wasn’t a lot of reporting on it or enforcement during the test. While that might mean they aren’t checking LSAT watches, they certainly could, and you don’t want to be caught without a watch on test day. Better safe than sorry! ?

Don’t forget that you can attend the first session of any of our online or in-person LSAT courses absolutely free. We’re not kidding! Check out our upcoming courses here.
