Manhattan Prep GMAT Blog - Introducing Our Brand New LSAT Strategy Guides! by Matt ShinnersLearning science has come a long way in recent years, and we’ve been learning with it. We incorporate the latest discoveries in learning science into our LSAT course to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of your prep. Our brand new 5th Edition LSAT Strategy Guides have just been released! These new, improved books add more content, more drills, and more mastery to our prior editions, while still keeping the lessons that have served our students well for the past two years.

Each of our books has received a face-lift to look even sleeker on your bookshelf. But it’s the updated content inside that really matters:

Logical Reasoning

  • An expanded discussion of common flaws present on the LSAT, along with how to spot them and use them in different question types
  • An updated Matching chapter, better reflecting an actual game-day process on top of discussing the underlying logic of the question type
  • Additional drills to challenge your understanding and drive you to mastery of the material

Logic Games

  • An updated chapter on In/Out Grouping games, offering a few different approaches to account for the differences in these games and to give you options to find a process that works best for you
  • The change we’re most excited about – two new chapters that split some common Twists from the basic game types. The LSAT is getting trickier, adding in elements to games that we haven’t seen before, but they’re not changing the basic skeleton of the games. These chapters are focused on flexibly adapting our basic game diagrams so that you don’t get thrown for a loop on test day
  • Additional drills to challenge your understanding and drive your mastery of the material

Reading Comprehension

  • Not too much here. Just additional drills to challenge your understanding and drive your mastery of the material. We really like new drills!

So check out our new guides, covering all the material you need to master the LSAT, updated and expanded to reflect the current trends of the test! ?
