Verbal Scoring

My Gre exam is on 29 oct. I am scoring around 165 in quant in MST tests but i am not satisfied with my verbal score which remainsaround 150 . How can i improve it ??


n yeah..plz can u tell how much the result varies between the tests and final GRE exam...

Hey Anant,

Unfortunately, there is no simple answer for increasing your score on an entire section of the test. If there were, there would be no need for folks like me, who teach classes and write books! You need to work on your vocabulary and your reading skills, mostly by practicing questions and learning the patterns employed by the GRE test writers. You should consider taking private tutoring, as the 29th of October is not very far away, if you need to see a major improvement. If you're close to your goal score, just keep practicing with the books (our GRE books on verbal might help you out...), learning new strategies and employing them.

What is an MST test? Our tests mimic the real test scoring very well, but I'm not sure if an MST test is something different...
